The Glorious Return of the Luckyfinger

For those who haven’t heard (and there may be a few of you, especially those who have been obsessively trawling this site during its year long slumber) Luckyfinger have reformed, in two-person, four-leg, 19-and-a-half finger form.

It will be back to the glory days of resolutely NOT-folk acoustic messiness and bittersweet lyrics of euphoria and abandonment.

We have some new songs and some old, and will be doing some sinful videos of them, which may appear here.

We will also be gigging (and giggling) again in London and indeed Oxford on given occasions in the future tense.

Watch this space. Or if you are an astronomer, just watch space.

First band is on at 7.30, we are on about 9 (we think) but come early and drink. I know I will be. We will also have CDs for sale & rent, T-Shirts, and the unveiling of our spanking new VIDEO BACKDROP. That’s right. We’ve gone all multimedia. Well, a bit multimedia. A bit media. Shut up.

It’s cold out so come DRESSED AS A BEAR (Polar or otherwise) and you could win big! Tom is excluded from this competition as he already looks disturbingly bear-like (Ursine – yes I had to look it up)

Oooooooh.

So we have lots of new tunes, right? And we’re playing this wednesday at the Cross Kings, right? As well as an acoustic warm-up set tonight at the Jamboree (Limehouse). And last night we even managed to take a few photos of ourselves. Unheard of!

So, after the success of last night’s unplugged showcase at The Albert and Pearl, we’ve been asked to make an appearance at The Jamboree tomorrow night.

Special luckyoffer (limited time only): Full-band, unplugged and playing funky-lounge versions of all your favourite lucky songs for a minimal fee (donations to the lucky charity will be accepted).

If you’re interested we’ll be in Limehouse from ’round-about 7 o’clock.
